ABOUT SUNNY GHAI
A Leader in Upper Macungie Township
As a longtime resident of Upper Macungie Township (UMT), Sunny has seen our township change for better and for worse. As a leader in our community, he has worked hard to maintain smart, sustainable land development growth, address resident safety concerns and preserve our quality of life.
Sunny is the Chair of the Good Neighbor Coalition (a collaborative effort between the Upper Macungie Township Police Department, Upper Macungie Township, local businesses, and residents to improve safety and resolve quality of life issues within the township), a former member of the UMT Planning Commission, and a Certified Citizen Planner through the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC).
He has had a long career in plant operations, procurement, and supply chain management at numerous global, high-technology and industrial manufacturing firms. It's leadership that can add immediate impact to Upper Macungie Township.
Ghai graduated from Parkland High School and Penn State University where he earned a BS in Engineering. He is married and has three adult children who also graduated from Parkland High School.
